Bernhard Fuchs has been leading since 2014 Umicore’s global Precious Metals Management business, which handles the global trading and hedging of precious metals for Umicore’s refining- and product-activities as well as Umicore’s customers.
Since entering the precious metals world in 1999 Bernhard held various positions - inter alia co-heading the precious metals refining group Allgemeine Gold- und Silberscheideanstalt AG for 7 years. Between 2009 and 2014 he was responsible for all Umicore’s activities in the region Greater China and lived there. Bernhard is a trained banker, licensed lawyer and holds a PhD in Law of the University of Freiburg (Germany).

Prior to joining Anglo American Hilton worked at De Beers for 17 years in roles across the mining value chain in processing, strategy, and mineral resource management including time as the technical assistant to the CEO of De Beers.
Hilton joined Anglo American in 2011 as Head of Precious Metals Marketing and in 2017 was promoted to Executive Head of PGM Marketing where he has been instrumental in leading the company’s journey from precious metals wholesaler to integrated miner-trader. In 2020 Hilton’s role was expanded to include responsibility for Anglo American’s marketing strategy across all its commodities.
In 2024, in line with the divestment Hilton relinquished his Anglo American responsibilities and took up the role of Executive head of Marketing at Anglo American Platinum responsible for sales, trading and market development.

Paul Dunne joined Northam in March 2014 as Chief Executive Officer. He has been a Board member of Northam Holdings since 2020 and of the group since March 2014 and is a non–executive director of the International Platinum Group Metals Association (IPA). He was formerly an executive director at Impala Platinum Holdings Limited, responsible for mining, concentrating and smelting operations at the Group’s Rustenburg and Marula mines.
Paul was elected as an Office Bearer of the Minerals Council in 2021 and is a champion of the Minerals Council Women in Mining initiatives. During his tenure he has made an invaluable contribution.
Paul is currently the caretaker President of the Minerals Council.
